One of my girls favourite thing to do with Mommy is Bake!! They both love to help me and it has nothing to do with licking the spoon or tasting the results (yeah right!!!) So today we made these super delicious Caramel Cupcakes. It is nice to bake from scratch but today we used a Betty Crocker cake mix.
All we needed was The Betty Crocker Cake Mix, water, oil, eggs and butter (for the icing). These kits are so handy as not only do you get the cake mix but you also get the cases, icing sugar and the sprinkles. Anything you have to add are things you would more than likely have in already. The two girls did most of the work, pouring in ingredients, mixing and waiting (not so) patiently for them to bake in the oven (only took 16 minutes) Then there was more waiting while they cooled down.
Finally they were cool enough to decorate and more importantly taste!!! The whole family....(apart from babyboy who was napping) thought they were sooooooo yummy!!!
I saved mine for my night time coffee when I can sit, relax and enjoy (there goes the healthy eating for today). These really are super tasty, I love that the icing was caramel also. A very easy and yummy treat that can be whipped up in no time....always handy to have a box in the cupboard!!!
